Day 1 2010 rifle season: Mama Wiersy got a shot at dark but she missed the deer and must have shot the sun because it sure got dark after she shot. The 7mm Mag will put out a three foot flame.

Never saw a deer I could shoot, when I could shoot. Went sturgeon fishing yesterday and also got skunked. Had a wonderful day with my Daddy fishing tho, and watched a winning football game afterwards GoDucks!!

Suz, glad you are getting to spend so much time in the wilderness. I need to take some day's off, enjoy nature, and try and catch up with your outdoor excursions.

I did something that I haven't done in a long time................. I MISSED!!!! I clean missed a nice big doe. It's a good thing I was on a field because I was looking for a tree to wrap the gun around. But my son drilled an 225lb 10 point buck.

It's a 3 way tie with us and my brother in law who had his scope go to hell today. He missed 6 deer on that stand before he realized his reticle was moving around. So he put my son in his stand and I gave him my 7mm Mag to finish the day.
