They sure were comfy and quiet. Wish I had a pair, but alas, my friend lost his life in Nam. He was of Klamath tribe.

Sorry to hear that B. I missed out on the war, too young, knew of some that went and it changed thier life. Bout the gnarliest theater ever and some of the stories...wow.

Had some calf length deer skin moccasins a friend of my Dads made while I was in Arizone with him. his friend was an Apache.

Thanks Bushy, been working hard for every penny since I got laid off. Working again but looonngg hours. Not to mention i hit every rodeo I could find this summer.

No worries tc things are getting better every day. Had to tighten the belt and dip pretty deep into the savings account but we're surviving. I'm still fat and sassy so things can't be too bad.

I recommend a Quality boot that is comfortable to you the minute you put them on. A quality new boot does not, [I repeat], does not need to be broke in. It should fit and be comfortable from the start. There are quite a few brands out there that will fit your need. You need to look at why you are in need of that particular boot. What it is going to be used for. And whether you will feel out of place wearing it.
I have no problem wearing my black Tony Lamas and a black Stetson with a black pin striped double breasted suit with a white dress shirt and most any bright tie. Nor do the horses mind if I approach them with the intent to sit on them wearing my old dusty Ariats, Levis weastern shirt and an old beat up Resistol with "stampede string" and braided buckskin band (sweat stained).

My horses have been known to have better taste than most of the women I've been around! ....And they dont' get headaches,and they're always even tempered.!
