I do have one kind of funny story for y'all if you want one.

While I was in Houston, I went through a few weeks of hallucinating terribly. Some of the things I saw I still nightmare about. scared

HOWEVER, I had enough of the right mind to realize I was hallucinating but that realization didn't make it go away. So...the apartment where we were staying had a linoleum floored bathroom. The linoleum had an odd design on it in black, against a white background. Well, when I would go in there to have a seat for a while, the design in the floor would come alive and I would see things like gila monsters, scorpions and such. So, I would go in, sit down, and then RAISE MY FEET a foot or two off the floor. Very Happy

One day my wife walks in and asks "What in the WORLD are you doing?". By then I'm pretty frustrated with the whole thing, so I look her in the eye and with all sincerity I explain, "I don't PLAN to get BIT while I'm taking a #$@%." Laughing

It was immediately funny and we still laugh about it every time we think about it. Now, when she passes the bathroom door she will ask "are your feet on the floor?" wtf

My wife...no other like her. Very Happy

This sorta reminds me of a funny incident when I was in my late teens. A friend of my brother was visiting one night, and he had smoked some sort of illicit "green leafy matter" and God knows what else mixed with it...anyway he was on his hands and knees zipping around the lounge room floor. He stopped at a chair, just looking at the shadow on the floor under said chair. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was chasing a small purple elephant and it fell down the "hole" under the chair.

I suggested to my brother that he doesn't invite this guy around if he has been using anything illicit. Still bloody funny though watching him scooting around the room on his hands and knees.

Sorta like me showring with clothes, boots and a pistol nearby. We have a lot of quakes here and dying on the terlit or soaped up nekid in the shower aint the way I wanna be found!

great to hear you are up and getting on the road to recovery. as for the weak arm when you sight an animal the ol adrenalin will kick in and youll be fine if not shoot lefty style. still looking for the photos...

Heystovey. How many birds have you ended up with out in the desert for the season? I enjoyed your stories BTW. Obviously I didn't make my sharpie hunt this year but the guys said birds were everywhere in the high plains.
