Reminds me of the water holes out in the desert of Az. only they were more like lakes and we used to get out our kayaks and fish for bass in them. Some of them were stocked with cat fish and some with bass. We would get topo maps of the open desert and search for cattle ponds and old mines, it was fun to hunt them down and to see if they had fish in them. The ones that do of course get very little fishing pressure and usually have easy pickens. A lot of open range in Az. and it's sure fun to be able to use your dirt bike or 4x4. Nothin like catching a fish in a kayak when they jump at eye level it's a blast.

Moo beasties...young heifers by the look of them...or what I know as Springers...yet to be put into the bull's paddock.

Looks nice and green out there mate...should attract the "right" kind of beasties as well. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hey wait a minute, back up. Stoped? I'm on a spelling thing right now so you have to excuse me. That's a mining term.
