BushM thanks! OOOOOooohh had a nice cup of coffee this morning, it always goes well with rain. I stepped outside at 6:30AM and saw a raccoon heading up one of my cedar trees. Guess he was done for the night. The shiny thing in the corner reminds me of a movie, I think it's The Great Escape, this guy plants a coin in a corner of the room to prove that his vision is alright (he's goin blind) so he can be allowed to escape with the others. Poor Stovey....I thought he was goin to make it....oh well. Is he the guy with the light bulb too? It's all makin sense now.
Vinny! I love dirt bikes. Had a trials bike once, with blown out front shocks, but it was a blast to ride. Used to go into a dry wash (sandy dried up riverbed, lots of those in Az) and see how far I could go. I remember goin up the bank once and thought I'd gun-it and jump up at the top. There was small ditch just after the top and I planted myself abruptly onto the burm of the ditch. The guys ahead of me had enough juice to jump over the burm, I didn't know it was there and they were all parked on the side waitin for me. Being a stupid girl, they knew what was coming up the pike. There were lots of helping hands. Riding the dirt bike was a good way to be away from the parents, had lots of drinkin and smokin buddies. There was also an Appaloosa ranch at the end of our street and we could go over there and get wild. The girls over there didn't like me unless I came with a stash or boys. One of the wranglers there loved to play dress-up with me, he would put all sorts of cowboy wear on me (including pistolas) and we'd look tough and ride off into the desert lookin for trouble. He taught me to shoot beer cans with an old S&W .38 which stung my hand and rung my ears so bad! I tell you that boy did stink though. He'd be around the horses all day and have horse slobber on him from head to toe, couldn't get too close to him or you'd smell like him. He was ok when he cleaned up and was about the funniest person I've ever met. That was the only job he'd ever had and over the years he had a nice riding stable of his own, only thing with renting horses is the wrangler comes with you and horses are reluctant to leave and anxious to get back. Make their mouth raw and they'd do anything, but that's no fun. It's not like a pet of your own to buddie up to. Jeeez I'm writin a book again...
Elvis what's the magpie syndrome? (be nice)
