10Ring,
They shoot pretty good for that age.
Personally at 25 yards with my air pistol I make 1inch groups when I am at my best, rapid fire with my Crossman 1008, Normally I get around 1-1/2inch groups.
Mind you I'm even more scared now about your daughters. I pitty the boys that go out to date them in a few years.

Ya know, when ya want to find something and look for it, ya can never find the thing .....Anywho, i used to have a target from my oldest shooting my old open class competition 9mm (off bags)......
This is what the target looks like
And all were in the center (a little lower than exact bull) with 5 shots, 4 touching, and one flyer about 1/8" away from the cloverleaf
She/they scare me even.......because i think i've met my match

10Ring,
Dont worry I look for things all the time and cant find them too.
10Ring sometime you need to tell me how you got them into shooting without "forcing them" I want to raise my kids right once I start having them
For now thought I think I'll keep the fact I want our kids shooting at that age away from her. She thinks they are dangours now (shes never used a gun but wants to go hunting ) so I am going to take the slow route or I am going to get .

Force....never......let them expierence, always! It all started when i was building a Glock for competition, my daughters would just sit and watch while i would build and fit parts.
Then, some weeks later, my oldest asked if she could hold one.....and what i'm about to tell you is the MOST REWARDING thing i have ever felt in my life. I had my hand over the chamber, but to where i knew and saw it was unloaded, and i then handed her the gun.....She said sternfully NO!!! I didn't see if it was unloaded! So i pulled the slide and let it go back and tried again....and again she said, NO!!! Sitck your finger in the chamber to make sure there isn't a stuck bullet (she ment round of course but i understood). Ok, i handed it to her again, and again NO!!! Dad, you didn't show me the "bullet holder thingie" (mag) so when that's out, you pull back the top, leave it open, stick your finger in the chamber, close it then open it and look again to make sure. Well after that my youngest had to mock and follow her big sis so she started on it and the rest is history.
My girls would constantly watch me, and i knew they were itching to know, and the person (dad) i am, will always teach them the right way before someone else teaches them the wrong way. Even hunting shows and other people she can pick out someone that isn't wearing hearing or especially eye protection then has to ask why are they so unsafe.
I know a few kids that were killed in an "accidental" shooting while another kid was showing their parents gun to them. My kids know better thankfully and don't even tell their friends they shoot because they don't want to be asked to see their guns, or as they say...asked non intelegent questions mostly related to TV and video games
Maybe i am strict, or i may even get chastised for my practices....but hey, they're my kids and the way i see it.....if i teach them early enough the accident that may have been, won't happen at all.
Sorry about the longwind....but ya asked and if you want more info i'd be more than happy to accept a PM and address issues like this as they come
Take care,
10Ring

Vince got any tips on how to make hunting interesting for girls ??
I told my girl in a couple of years I'll take her moose hunting with me for a couple of weeks stright and I want to know how to keep her busy and liking it
Now in a few years after that I might have my own kids to take out hunting with her.
Thanks in advance.

Gidday Dimitri, it was too hard to get my daughters interested. When I used to shoot a lot of pistol (Service Pistol Match, sorta like PPC, and Sillouette) my daughters used to come to the range with me. I taught my eldest and two youngest to shoot pistol (the 2nd wasn't even remotely interested). My eldest left home at 17 and went to work on a cattle station where she learnt to hunt. My 3rd is a natural, should'a been a boy and my youngest (16) will be coming out with me this year. Took her a little while to decide that she wanted to see shot critters, but she has decided to come anyway.
After that you just need to find things that are interesting to do in between the stalks and hunts. Admiring the sights/views are great for the ladies as are quiet picnics in the bush/forest or sitting on the bank of a river watching the world go by and just being together, even better if the hunting has finished and you have a bootle of wine to share. She will soon come to enjoy the bush as much as you do.
Good luck mate.
Cheers, Vince

And here I am teachin' my Granddaughter gun handling. Where has the time gone...One of her assigned tasked from her father was to get her gun training from Grandpa while she was here for Christmas.
Merry Christmas All...
