so we're certanly not talking top of the line but what do you guy's think bout'em. a guy i work with is really hurten for some money and is selling alot of his stuff. he just bought a charles daily "feild hunter" 28 inch barell, mc, guy needs to sell it now. you guy's ever shot'em. it's coming up on christmas and this guy doesn't have a whole lot to spend on his kids i might just purchase it to help him out.

Well, if ya didn't know....Charles Daly was one He11 of a gun to own back in the 60's and 70's. A friend of mine aquired a Diamond Grade shotgun from that era, and let me tell you, that is one fine gun!

These days Daly, (after changing hands a few times i believe) is up to par with many of their new firearms and with many of the pistol shooters i know taking a Daly 1911 and making a gun worthy of competition. And while i'm not very much of a shotgunner, i have shot a few of Daly's SxS's and O/U's and can say it is up there with some of the other $$$$ shotguns i've shot.

If the price is fair, you will NOT be disappointed at all!

I have one of the field hunters and is a nice shotgun for the money...been very reliable. have had it in the duck pond in 2 degree weather and the thing being covered in ice...never burped, ran like a champ.

very impressed with it.

I'v seen and shot a few of the shotguns and several of the 1911s. I don't see anything wrong with them for the right price. They are not Athenas or Robars but appear to be very servicable. I don't think that you can go very wrong. Cool
