I shot this group with the Desert Eagle 10" barrel at 50 yds from a good rest, it is equiped with a Leupold 2X scope.
the load that shot this group is 22.3gr Aliant 2400, 210gr Seirra JHC's, with federal LP primers in WW cases.

I should put a scope on my 500 although it does about 1.5 inches at 50 with these eyes.

POP!!! If you go for optics get a GOOD scope, My Desert Eagle 50ae eats cheap optics for breakfast, I can only imagine what that 500 will do with them.

Burris to my way of thinking is not a cheap scope, I'm talking those things you fins in those military surrplus magazines, (Sportsmans Guide)

You are correct, however and in retrospect, you said a "GOOD" scope because your DE eats cheap ones. Save the $$$ and buy one good one, as to where spending the same on disposable scopes over time that i can gaurantee won't hold zero after only a few shots.

Yes I agree, but alot of people dont see it that way, and spend, collectivly on several cheap ones, way more than we would on one good Leupold or weaver or Burris. T/C makes a decent pistol scope as well.
