The “Inter-American Convention Against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and Other Related Materials” (known by the acronym CIFTA)" is a joke.
There is already the "International Traffic in Arms Regulations" that EVERYONE exporting anything related to the military and firearms needs to follow with export permits (parts under 100$ other then receivers, barrels etc, scope mounts/rings and "hand" reloading tools being the only exceptions).
