Anyone help me out?
I have been trying to obtain a CZ550 dovetail(19mm) to weaver, adaptor rail. CZUSA do avertise them, but on back order, as they curtly put it "It could be 30-60 days or more."
They also state that they do not export to the UK, even though it is not a restricted item.
So if anyone knows of one somewhere, it will be greatly appreciated. I obviously will pay all costs and postage.
Dave

Thanks BJ, but unfortunately thats for a 3/8" dovetail. The CZ550 dovetail is 19mm or roughly 3/4", which is "about weaver size, but different profile". The reason is so I can fit a dedicated NV scope.

Sorry, Dave, that was the result of a Brownell's search on CZ 550 parts. You might check closer, I believe they carry CZ actions

Just curious, what’s wrong with a set of rings from Burris, Leupold, Talley, or Warne?
I’ve always looked at adapters as one more link to fail or have a problem with!!!
CZ, Ruger, Sako and the new TC Icon all have integrated base systems that eliminate this possibility. Why add it back?

I wish it was so simple. All NV scopes have Weaver mounts and cannot be mounted to dovetails without an adaptor base(They cannot be mounted with rings). I have a Sako 17hmr also with dovetails(smaller) which I can get a weaver base for, but rifle not suitable for foxing. I cannot warrent the expense of another rifle and night scope, so has to be an adaptor.

Did you get in touch with the factory through WWW.CZUB.CZ? I looked around and found nothing. I spoke to a guy from CZUSA who says there are about 42 back ordered and they go out as soon as they come in.
He thinks you would have a better chance of getting one by contacting the factory in Europe than we would have getting one over here.
Best of luck.

e-mail me and will see what we can work out. Put something in the subject like cz550 so I don't delete it thinking it's spam.
I've got family over there I don't know about so we'll look at this as if I'm helping one of them out. My 86 yr old aunt in Washington state has been in touch with them but I don't know anything about them.
I remember as a kid my mother had drink coasters with pictures of places in England. One holiday my white haired, gentleman of a grandfather was flipping through them. He always had his Harris tweed jacket, vest, wool tie, tweed hat and drove an old Benz from an estate. As he's looking at them he stops with one and remarks, "I remember being chased down that street by the Bobbies!". I was a shocked young boy. I realized there was a lot I didn't know about him. I guess I knew enough. He was a good man. What else is there.

Thanks RPM, may not need to take you up on your offer, see below.
UPDATE
Have been in touch with the UK main importers for CZ and got a good reply.
E-mail recieved.
"Hi Dave,
This is actually a base made by Kozap for which we are the distributor as well. The base we have in stock though doesn’t have as many slots across it but these can easily be put in by a machine shop with a milling machine if required. As I say we have it in stock so you need to order part number KOZAP-3-100-04 from your local dealer."
So, looks like problem solved.(Watch this space)
Anyone else looking for one, now you know where to look.
If no problems over here, I can help out if anyone else is struggling if all works out ok here.
Thanks to all for their help.
