We had a yard full of marble size hale last night.
Everything is green with all of the leaves that fell out of the trees.
Luckily, we live in heavy woods and were protected by the trees.
Bushy,
I have varied my OAL on the .45ACP to get the best load.
Remember back to that ill fated post a while ago??
I go trial and error with the OAL.
I kind of try to hit a middle ground, because my Kimber 1911's chamber is a tad tighter than my PT 1911's.

Bushy I love the Rainier 300gr Flat point in my 444 Marlin and 44 magnum.
Ordered some in 200gr for my 45 acp to try. I may get some in .500 for my 50AE soon as well.
They are accurate when loaded as lead bullets.

I've been loading plated bullets (Frontier's from South Africa) for a number of years, just to get away from lead.
My loads are
9mm
147gr FP
3.9gr/Unique
PF = 137
.40 S&W
180gr CMJ
4.7gr/Titegroup
PF = 177
45 ACP
230gr RN CMJ
5.0gr/Bullseye
PF = 180
I went to Unique in the 9mm for economy, and that it's cleaner than HS6 which I liked too, but I used to use Bullseye but found it too snappy and filthy.
I also used HS6 in the .40 S&W (7.5gr) but changed to TiteGroup for the economy and I had used it all up.
When I've used up my supply of Bullseye, I'll change my load for the 45 ACP.
