On the subject of how many's,

How many gun safe do you have?

I have
- 1 rifle safe (12 rifle size filled with about 15 Razz )
- 2 pistol safes (in the land of Oz, your wife must have her own safe if she own pistols)
- 2 Ammunition safes (one for the reloads and the other for factory ammos)

Maybe I should make a gun room instead Very Happy

I got one of them Stack-On gun cabinets, and the bolt on-top ammunition/pistol safe to hold my ammo, its getting full in there though. Might get the 2 door model with the shelving on one side to make more room sometime in the future. Smile

Two, but I don't store ammo in a safe. The ammo is sorted into 20mm G.I. ammo boxes. I store my powder in a powder magazine. Storing powder in a tight, enclosed space is a recipe for disaster.

Hummm...Powder, primer and loaded cartridge storage...

This is a photo of my "In Service" powder, primer and loaded cartridge storage. Bullets are just to the right on the bench. I don't think my loading/gun room is air tight so if it goes BOOM I doubt that too much will happen except that my insurance company will be out a few thousand dollars to replace the house...Considering what it takes to set any part of this off, I'm not too worried...Gotta match?

Four: Champion 25, Liberty 25, Liberty 25 and Liberty 35. We do not have local police and I want to keep what I got. All the best...

Even if I had local police right next to my house I'd still have a gun safe...My luck I'd be ripped off right at coffee and donut hour... Very Happy

Well, here in Oz,
Cops visit your HOME and inspect your SAFES!!
Your firearms safe SHOULD NOT contain any ammo, and your firearms and magazines MUST NOT be loaded at all.
There are horror stories about some poor dumb bastard who left some air pellets OUTSIDE of the ammo safes and their license were suspended.
We in this great Land Of Oz is the suppressed minority - we cant even tell our "friends" that we like to shoot, it may be taken wrongly!!

@bushy & coyote
My stuff is hers and her stuff is hers - all I got for myself is my boots and that coz they are smelly

Laughing Hey, maybe the safe would be a good place to store then, right before inspection day. Yuck

Coyotehunter_1...The USSR of C has been trying to pass a law to make it manditory for you to have your gun safe inspected, without notice or search warrent, once a year for several years now without success so far...You wouldn't even be allowed to keep a weapon near your bed at night for protection. It would have to be in the safe too...
