I stopped at a gun shop to pick up scope bases and rings. They showed me a mint used 870 Special 12 gauge with a 20-inch VR full choke barrel. About 15 minutes later it left with me. Take care...

You got yourself a great gun there!
Wish we still allowed to own one...

Oh for those good ole days.

Joe,

I have a passion for ANY 870. Do what you want to 'em, they still kill stuff.

My neighbor dropped one off at my house one day. It was given to him, but his FTH wife will not allow guns in the house. Bad for him, Good for me....

I have a 1960 something Remington Model 870 Ducks Unlimited my father purchased new. Has gold inlay and a gold plaque on the left side of reciever with 30" full choke barrel. And I have the 28" 870 I purchased myself in 1985 when I graduated HS.

Elyboy,
The Remington 870 Special cost me $229.00 out the door. I am going to order a 26" VR barrel for it. The wood and metal are perfect because the former owner covered the entire gun with camo tape. Take care...
