I have a cat that is my best friend. Yep its a cat and I know some people do not like cats but when I was having major problems with my diabetes I was bed ridden for almost 6 months and this guy was my only comfort and was beside me through it all and we made a great friendship along the way.
Well today is his 12th birthday and my wife and I went out and got him a cat castle for him to play in and spend some energy playing in. Well after putting it all together is almost 8 feet tall and out in my work shop he has nothing to do with it he is out playing with the boxes it came in and the paper packaging that was rapped around it. I should have saved my money and got a few boxes with old newspaper and let him have it. OW! well in my mind he is worth it.

My fuzzy has a castle that we got her a few years ago for Chirstmas. It's a small one so she can't fit her whole body inside the thing.
Cute kitty. And sometimes it's just nice to have the cat there.

beautiful cat.. i pulled one of them things outta the engine compartment of the wifes car when it was a kitten, took it into the place she works and the one lady there took it home.. when she was at the vet getting it checked over the vet said it was a free visit since it was a rescued kitty.. she then went to the local pet store and was offered 600.00 for it. now that the critter is bigger and older she took it back to the store, and she was asked if she would take 3K for the thing!! its a purebreed chocklet point?!?

Cats are neat. I had two tom cats that lived in my basement from their birth in 1991 through the time of their deaths in 2008. They loved to watch me reload and would sit in my lap or on the reloading bench and watch everything I did. I miss Fred and Jeremiah and enjoyed their company for many years. All the best...

Of course. What would you expect from a siamese cat. How about my buddy, a Russian Blue...In one photo there are two dots on his nose...He never has mastered drinking from a bowl...It's fun to watch as he will use his paw to move the water bowl to make the water move so he can figure out how deep it is into the bowl and still he will get water on his nose...

You wasted your money on a castle for your friend? You mean like this? Now where did I put that castle?

We did have a cat that dipped her paw in her water dish and then licked it dry. My brother had one that peed in the toilet but we never could get the son-of-a-gun to flush.

My cat is a Tanzanian brown and the picture below is his son he is a Blue Seal-point Tanzanian. We had to have them insured after our insurance agent came by to up-grade our insurance policy and seen them. The Blue seal-point is insured for $3,000 because he is so rare and his father is insured for $2,500. Believe it out not it does not cost that much it added about 12 dollars every 6 months to our insurance premium.

Cats are like kids ??? Well I suppose that in one respect they are.....they don't have owners...they have staff....and one word from the parents/adults and they do as they please.
We have a 12 yr old neutered ginger tom...don't think he's ever forgiven me for havin' him clumped.
He weighs about 8.5 kg (18.75lb) and luckily he has slowed down a little these days and is not as playful as he used to be. When he was young I wasn't game to donate blood at the Red Cross...he used to make me bleed that much I wasn't sure that I had enough left over to donate.
Cheers, Vince
