Eric,
I was trying to think POSITIVE, something that RARELY happens (the thinking positively, I'm a pessimist, not the thinking part. ) , but does happen SOMETIMES.
And I must admit I always thought "The end justifies the means" was a good saying to live by.

Vint,
I knew you didn't mean that kind of taxing but I was thinking of my income taxes when I read your post. They were due today in Canada. Did them a few weeks ago so I know my return and I like what I see!
Will be gearing up a "long" weekend pack for hunting/camping/hiking with the money.

Anything in my sights and is in season ??
I buy a tag for everything I can, so I got tags for the whole province for everything except adult moose, female turkey's and deer does.
Then again, the time spent outdoors is what does it for me, I don't need to shoot a animal to get a good days of hunting done, nor do I need to catch any fish to be happy with the day. So yes, if I went hunting and ended up sitting up next to a tree leaning back, and taking a nap for the day, it can still be a great day out hunting, even if I ended up missing my chance on a few deer or other species cause of my little nap.
The pack is going to carry things such as a water filter, food, spare change of clothes, socks, water, and some personal items. Just enough to work for 3 or 4 days without any extra "junk" as anything you don't need to survive in my mind is junk.
Edit to keep with the very off topic theme of this thread:
Its kinda like when I go "hunting" at the local watering hole for a girl, at the end of the night, if I have collected a number or 2 that was a good day, whether or not I even bother callings the girl back for a "2nd date".

Now that is a long time! 44 years. I haven't had a single girl stick around for 1/80th of that, never mind that long!
