Thanks for the welcomes, folks! Will be sticking around. Found this site in a search for the reloading base.
Sako

I will be adding several *thousand* loads to the database in the next month or so. I'm compiling a list then I'll batch add them. I hope to build a DB of every valid load I can lay my hands on.

Dallan,
Curious to know you have anything on 375 JDJ?

Don't mean to hijack but.....

What are you looking for Sako??? If it's reloading data i have used this in the past ---->375 JDJ load data
Although i don't load it any more, i only used the 270gr Hornady with AA2520 near max load (i have heard 270gr. Speer BT's work as well and maybe better?).
Never got around to chronographing it but i shot .9" @100 yards out of a T/C Contender with 14" SSK barrel.

Hope this helps!

Thanks 10ring,
Have seen that link and others. Also have the data from SSK as mine is a 14 in from them like yours.

AA2520 looks to push very well. I've been using H4895 with Hornady 225 SP's. Accuracy was ok, velocity 2110 for hunting loads.
Recently started working loads up using Nosler 260 Accubonds and H4895.
Up to 2000 fps so far. Accuracy is :-D, much better than the 225's. Looking to eek out 2100 fps with them, maybe more. Very interested in the terminal perfromance with the AB's. Have been told they will expand down to impact velocities of 1800. Another pill I'm considering is the Sierra 250 gr Gameking.

SSK data shows 54.0 of N140 pushing a 270 gr. bullet at 2129. Might try the N140 next.

Sako:

Looks like you got it already. Smile But i have to ask......Have you shot any of the other 'bigger' rounds out of you T/C?
I would not call this 'enlightenment' of mine fun, but i have shot most of their A$$ kickers and find that my 500 S&W throwing a 720gr slug is 'tame' compared to Encore in ... 458 Win, 470 NE, 475 JDJ, and the 50 Alaskan 750 (atleast by being not way too bad, i can say i did it). For some reason the 458 got the best of me (Enlightened me to say the least) and for that, i won't be touching one of those off any time soon! Wink

10ring,
Sounds like serious hand punishment!
I've only been "enlightened" up to 375 JDJ. Plenty enough for SE deer and pigs, acquired mainly for elk back home someday.

I have hunted with a Dan Wesson .445 super mag, Texas pig hunting.
I am trying to put together a XP-100 in 3.82 Patriot should be a flat shooter.

I use three revolvers for big game, a 454 Casull 7.5" FA, a Vaquero 4 5/8 in 45 Colt and Redhawk 7.5" in 44 Mag. All have iron sights. I prefer rifles but there are times when the cover is dense and a revolver is suitable if not advantageous.

Combined, these wheel guns have taken three black bear, two elk, two whitetails -- all shots under 50yds. They have been effective and have damaged less meat. One elk was a 390 class 6X7. OTOH, I've missed one good mulie, two javelina and several coyotes. mea culpa

Several areas have high jackrabbit populations and I like to practice on them. They have the better odds and tend to humble this shooter with frequency.
