When brass and bullets were banned from sale on Ebay the brass and bullet dealers moved to GunBroker.com. I just made two purchases, one lot of 1000 bullets for my 9mm, and a lot of 9mm once fired brass that was mostly FC and WIN cases. Both lots were quality stuff. The brass arrived today and I have been popping primers all evening and throwing them in the tumbler. Something to keep the 'ole goat busy.

There is no snipe bidding on gunbroker.com and they have a 15 minute rule, i.e. the auction is not over until 15 minutes after the last bid. In other words a real auction. Many auctions are Buy Now at reasonable prices. Worth a look see.

You will find some brass and bullets at AuctionArms.com but not as much.

I'm glad you gave the heads up about GunBroker Popgun.
After reading your post, I went to their web page and found the brass that I have been looking for, ever sense ebay went liberal on us.

Thanks,

Eric

I'm glad that the info helped you find what you needed. It worked for me too. I'm still working on the 3000 rounds of 9mm that I got at gunbroker. I'm about half way through the pile just popping old primers and tossing the brass in the fumbler. Lots of work but it keeps me busy and out of trouble.

If you haven't purchased brass or bullets lately the current prices are a shock to the system especially the big bore handgun and rifle components. Bad part is the costs are still going up with no end in sight. It's time to stock up before the prices climb higher.
I'm having the same problem finding 375 H&H brass new or once fired. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and buy it as I find it.

I just picked up a 4# Keg of W-231.
It cost me $58.00 and should last me at least until July.
I have been stocking up on Red River 45ACP 200gr LSWC bullets.
Last year they were $25.00 per 500, and this week I paid $36.00 for 500.
I have several thousand Rainier and Berry's 45ACP bullets that I stocked up on last fall at $79.00 a thousand.
I see that they are now $112.00 a thousand.
I have one thousand 45ACP Precision bullets that I paid $80.00 last fall, and I want to buy more, but don't have the heart to go on Precision's web page to see what the cost is now.

Berry's were the cheapest last month when I bought some .41Mag brass at $17.00 per one hundred.

The cost is still going up, but rifle and pistol shooting is still a whole lot cheaper than shooting shotgun.
I shot ATA for 25yrs, and if I shot now like I did in the day, I would go broke.
Besides, Rifle and Pistol Competition is much more fun. Very Happy

Eric

I just checked on the Precision web site, and see that their 45ACP 200gr SWC are now $96.00 per one thousand.
That really isn't a bad jump, next to everybody else. I guess that I will have to beg my Wife to let me order a couple of thousand.
The Precision quality doesn't really show, shooting a 25yds, but at 50yds, there is a big difference.
When I scale the different bullets, they all are fairly consistent. Within a tenth of a grain.
When I scale Precision bullets, they are a dead on. Unbelievable quality control at their factory.

Eric

For powder you might want to bookmark Powder Valley if you don't already use them. #4 of W-231 is $55.75 an #8's is $104.95 before Hazmat and Shipping. Even if you get a better price somewhere else it's good to have a backup source in case your main supplier is out of stock on your favorite powders. Do you have another good priced dealer you want to share?
