Too much weight off to one side with that camara system. Smile

Personally lugging around a 10 pound or so rifle plus scope is enough for me. Laughing

Dimitri, I agree Rifles are heavy enough, but as far as lop sided, you would be surprised, it's not. The only way I would use this is if I sat in a blind, and then I would put the camera on, but as far as lugging it around all day...NOT

Glockman,

Neat to know. Smile I've got a thing about not taking pictures of dead animals (sorry I'm able to hunt, kill, feild dress, butcher, and the like but I don't got the stomic for pictures Embarassed ) otherwise I'd be seriously considering the mount because it isn't lop sided. Smile

Sad glockman55, sorry about my comment, just being funny. But all jokes aside, where did your son get it. I might be interested cause I made an adapter for my video cam to attatch to my 60power spotter's scope. It wou be intersting though. Dave Very Happy

Here is a real camera scope for you, the Elcan Digital Hunter. This scope is 1198 and its brother , the day/night scope is 1350. Stop action, movies, ballistics, etc.

The one I saw at the shot show a few years back had a wireless modem
so the commander could see real time the same thing his scout or sniper was seeing.

Swampfox,

Adirondack Optics makes one without the fancy features as well, its simply a scope with a camara.

Your a young guy so I'm going to tell you the secret when it comes to spending money in life ..

...

...

Ready for it ?? Confused

...

...

You only live once and your only single once in your life, Once your married or dead its over (no more "toy" buying for you!), and your a young guy like me so we can afford to wait a little while longer to buy the thing thats better especially when it comes to something like guns where spending alittle extra on a good rifle and a good scope it will last alot longer then you will. Its a investment. Smile
