Guess its cause my diet hasn't changed like they say it should you know eat more "greens" and the like, I'm eating Sheperds pie, if you know of it, ground beef and mashed potatoe (should have a layer of creamed corn between thouse 2 though).

Sheperds Pie was a dietary staple for me for years, although the creamed corn sounds like one hell of an upgrade.........

Joe,
Creamed corn being a upgrade. It comes from a Can no additional work neededng but cracking open the can and pouring it on the meat and its pretty cheap too!

By upgrade I mean over what we used to eat....
It was "stretching" the budget back then, and in the middle of the 15 year period I didn't hunt, so wild game was not an option.
Ground beef was $1.59 a pound.
Potatoes were around $3.00 per 5 pounds.
Beer was $6.50 per 12 pack
A full days meal cost for 3 roommates:
$ 3 .20 (2 lbs ground beef)
$ 1 .20 (2 lbs potatoes)
$19.50 (3-12 packs beer)
$23.90 per day
Any "upgrades" in those days usually meant you added pepper or hot sauce.

I never had roommates.
Right now I manage to give myself a lunch, a good dinner, snacks and the like for about 30$ a week eating pretty good meals.
Beer money isn't included in that 30$ though, but I get a case every month or so.

I'm 6ft 2in according to my doctor, I was 195, I've been gaining weight I think, but losing my waist still, gaining muscle at work I'd imagine.
I'll have to see what I weight now perhaps Saturday.

Its good to see you people are eatin good food and staying away from the filthy weed.
I gave up smokin in 1995, it was having an adverse affect on my kids(passive smoking) and haven't gone back, I'm 6' and weigh 98kg what ever that is in pounds. I was up to 104 kg and started swimming and riding a pushie to work and dropped to 93 kg in about 3 months. Ive gone back up to 98kg cause i'm eating to many take aways because of work commitments.
I need to make a good shepherds pie I think. I cook chopped capsicum in the mince with some onion,carrot and mushrooms cooked then topped with thin sliced tomato and covered with mashed potato and grated cheese and baked in a hot oven until its nice and browned on top.

Tracker,
For about half my life I've been too small for football, used to be the short skinny kid, I hit grade 7/8 and became one of the taller and bigger guys I knew.
Still I used to be able to tackle bigger guys on the field, its been a while since I've played a good game of unpadded tackle football though.
Now I'm still tall but losing my waist, getting it to a more "normal" size.
