I think that every time my dog tries to lick my face, does he love me or does he just think I taste good? Every time I read about one of these animal attacks I think the same thing, helloooo people, they're animals!

In Washington State the decided that hunting animals with dogs was "unsportsmanlike" so the stopped the dog hunts for bears and cougars. Today we have a rise in cougar sitings and attacks on kids and pets. Ever try to hunt a cat without dogs? Its easier to let him hunt you.

When I was a lot younger I used to hunt the Kent valley but I never hunted the Snoqualmie plateau. I used to hunt deer on Tiger mountain - now you can't shoot more than 50 feet in any direction without hitting a house or a condo.

Wow Paul...You are old...I hunted all over the Snoqualmie basin (Plateau?). Spur 10, Lake Philipa, Sunday Creek and lakes, Lenex Creek area. Shot some fine Blacktails up there. Fished the Snoqualmie canyon below the basin for Summer Steelhead and some fine Rainbows (They were going to dam that basin a few years ago). When I was living in the area there were Cutthroat trout in stream called Toko Creek. It was beautiful country...Have to admit it was in the mid '60s to late '70s though...
My oldest son, wife and daughter live just north of Seattle in Arlington. My grand daughter is 1/2 Stillaguamish Indian...Kinda miss the area though my son says it has changed a bunch sense I first started him hunting the area. Now he is introducing his daughter to hunting and fishing. She's 14 now and has been a water baby sense she was 2 on the back of her dad's jet ski on Lake Union and Washington. He has a problem with her 'cause she can out fish him.

Bushmaster,
If your granddaugther can outfish her father it means she had a good teacher or 2
And isnt the job of the young generation to outpreform the older ones ??
Well thats the job of the younger generations but sometimes I think some generations are getting stupider.
