I used to think I knew what new normal meant.

Having seen that pic, I wonder if "New Normal" is loaded with a meaning I haven't understood , or if it's just an empty buzzword.

The "new normal" is five solid conservative judges on the supreme court, Trump in a second term, and covid gone and wiped from memory like an old 5-1/4" floppy diskette.
The new normal is Californians joining the rest of the union carrying conceal weapons and New Yorkers voting Republican.

My dream is the overturn of the federal firearms act and all the restrictions put in place since then. (it's MY dream - you can join but don't disparage it) Smile

It is the only LAWFUL act possible. That is when infringements began on our second amendment supported rights. It is consistent with the reason for keeping and bearing arms, that being, to possess and carry those guns consistent with the arms carried by the American foot soldier of the time.

I may not believe it will happen but it is still my dream.
