shikes I was almost tempted to try that...but seeing the outcome for that fella...maybe not.
perhaps better make her a cuppa tea while Im out in the kitchen fetching me own beer......
a real "cook me some eggs" moment......(for you non KIWIs thats a infamous line from movie 'once were warriors')

My wife would just get up and do it. It's like we're in love, but without the tantrums, arguments and fighting. It goes both ways though. Today I made a full turkey dinner for the two of us and actually cleaned up as I went along. After dinner I put the food away and cleaned the kitchen. She is happy, liked the dinner and the pecan pie dessert. She didn't even ask what I bought (nothing) or who I'm seeing on the side (nobody). When I say I want to go to the range or get something she always says, "I think you should". After nineteen years we are still on our honeymoon. We like it that way!

That is just downright scary Shocked Paul. I must admit though that when I make a brew I always ask SWMBO if she would like one, and when she is preparing dinner I always offer to help.

Asking each other if we want something from the kitchen or if anything is needed at the store is just part of life. I have given up asking if she wants help because the only thing I get to do is stand there and look mean... too old to look pretty anymore.
Now if I am making brownies or cookies she gets to help because I know she wants to lick the bowl. Wink

After turkey dinner I cleaned the kitchen and I walked in a couple hours later to see her cleaning the sink... she needs to know it was "disinfected" to her standards. I laughed and gave her a hug.
