Mate...that is pure complete and utter bullsh1t. They left a something off that list:

LEVEL 4 CLAUSE 5 (1)
Any...
a. Politician, elected Official, politically appointed Official or Public Servant
b. Police Officer, who:
listens to, or takes advice from, and acts upon such advice or suggestion from:
(a) any person who is a member of (whether elected or not), aligns with, or supports the political party known as The Greens,
(b)any ANTI Firearm group,
(c)ANTI Firearm organisation or
(d)person who identifies as being ANTI Firearm, or demonstrates as, being a "floppy rooster (softc@#%) type" who claims to know, or believes to know, what is best for the rest of society.

Said Suggestion and/or Advice is deemed invalid and not in the best interests of society.

Said Police Officer, Politician, elected Official, politically appointed Official or Public Servant who listens to, or takes advice from, and acts upon such advice or suggestion, is deemed incompetent and immediately removed from his or her position, office and/or role as a Police Officer, Politician, elected Official, politically appointed Official or Public Servant.

Back in the 70's when I was deployed to the middle east the Swedish army guys had brass catchers that were attached directly on their G9's and SMG's.

OK, I'll bite; Why would you worry about brass in combat?

Reloads for the army or fighting units that are not as well supplied as the USA army.

Stops the enemy picking up your brass and turning it into stuff they can "throw" back at you...even reload it to use against you.

Oddly enough the reasons given to me are partially hit on the head by both Gelandangan and Vince. It primarily is used on the ranges to policing brass for recycling and, saving time but also in the field for denial of material to the enemy for improvised weapons or reloading, as well as scat for intelligence gathering of the force/unit that is operating in the area of operations AO.

OK, as long as it doesn't take the soldiers mind off of staying alive.

Your mind is ALWAYS on staying alive. The most important person to an infantryman down range is their partner their squad their platoon in that order.
