being ANZAC day the movie tonight was War Horse
2nd time Ive watched it and yip call me a sentimental old fool if you will but there is tears in my eyes AGAIN.
well worth watching

Hmm we must have similar program.. It was aired on Friday night locally.
Yes good story.
War casualties are not only human, animal used to support are war heroes too.

A brilliant movie. I think a lot of people tend to forget about the support animals who have no say in going to war but give their all anyway.

I notice that there are more and more monuments being raised to animals that are becoming almost indispensable on the battle field these days. Dogs in particular are a God send both during and after the fight. In days gone by it was the horse.
