Has anyone else tried this "Seal 1 CLP"? Its a "green" product. I used it for the first time today to clean up a handgun. Seemed to work OK and it sure smells better than most of the other stuff I've been using! After I use it some more and get to the range I'll update this. I look forward to others impressions of it.

Like Donut Slayer, I have tried all the various gun cleaners and preservatives and keep coming back to Hoppe's nitro solvent and Benchrest #9 copper solvent.
As stated before I use ATF and military Red grease for lube and preservation.
About the only experimenting I do now is with Hoppe's new products. I'm about to try this as Benchrest is rather rare in these parts.

That's for (not) listening to presidential and vice presidential speeches.

If it's anything like Frog Lube, then walk away.
FL is congealing after a short period of time and gumming up the works.
I haven't jumped on the band wagon and still use Break Free CLP.

RePete,
That's good to know about frog lube. I've heard great things about recently. But the person reviewing it hadn't used it long enough that it would have had a chance to congeal.

Its interesting that you say that about Frog Lube. A number of folks on a local forum are swearing that Frog Lube is the best invention since peanut butter.
I understand that Seal 1 is similar to Frog Lube so we'll see!
