Check it out and let me know if there are any glaring errors or if parts of it seem confusing that I can better describe.

Nope Bushy it's not too much whiskey, I'm sober and I spotted it as well. Here's the first sentence. Very Happy

LOL good catch. I was editing that paragraph when I got interrupted and I guess the ole' thought train derailed Smile

PS: Bushy, you need to read the "gutless" dressing method on this link:

Great job Dallan, very comprehensive. If I can follow it and believe that I can do it using your instructions then anybody should be able to. I usually need the Big Dummies Guide To....... if I want to do anything.

However, the first sentence under HINT has one small error.......I believe that the word "capping" should read "caping". Sorry to be a nitpicker, but apart from that, great job. The "capping" has already been done when you pull the trigger and "bust that cap".

The next "How To" could possibly be a "Butchering Method" maybe?

Cheers, Vince

While most people here can do fielddressing, caping, deboning... in their sleep, people have to realize that there are a HUGE amount of other hunters who really dont have a clue what do do after they pull the trigger. I've recieved near 75 requests from Hunters Saftey instructers wanting to print and use the field dressing guide in their class. I always give them a big hearty "YES".

The caping guide i've wanted to do for a while but never had a camera handy when we got to that point so I made it a special point of last years pronghorn hunt to take some pictures... I finally got around to writing it up in the past couple of days.

You know I had it as "Caping" but the stupid spell checker turned it into "Capping" ... I went back through and fixed it back to "Caping" but I missed one, so good catch!

I would be quite embarassed if a real butcher saw how I cut up my deer... I get the meat off, cut into managable steaks and whatnot but it aint a pretty process LOL

Maybe we have a real butcher out there that could contribute some of his craft to the butchering of game animals. What say ye???

Dallan...You are a man after my own heart. It's nice to see the Buck Special still in use besides mine...I also have and use the Buck Personal...Fine blades without having to spend an arm and a leg to own one.....
