When will these morons learn that although they might fix what they perceive to be a problem at the time, they are creating much bigger problems for everyone.

Well the good news if you can call it that, is that the only person dead is the shooter. Thank goodness for miracles I guess. Kid used a shotgun apparently.

The news jibbershites here are once again blaming an inanimate object, the gun. And questioning your gun laws and second amendment, and calling for more laws against guns.
Funny how they seem to forget that murder or attempted murder is a crime already and doesnt seem to have stopped this latest tragic event.

Wonder if the shottie will magically turn into an AR...just waiting. The news I watched last night didn't seem to go anti-gun but they did add up the school shootings and they are rather close together. Those kids need discipline, structure and something better to do. Those little thoughts in their heads are takin over, instead of reason, they come up with total destruction, (even of themselves) for a solution. Same as suicide, they're just takin someone with them to prove a point. Why this isn't obvious and why they don't have a counseling program or some sort of awareness is beyond me. Good place to stay away from if you're raising a family. It would also be a good place to start some adult awareness counseling, anger management classes for students (and teachers).

and we took corporal punishment away from schools...and homes...so kids have boundary issues like never before
not to mention desesitizing video/xbox/playstation/computer games that are close to real in graphics.

It was the beginning of this year when anti-gunners were saying how ridiculous of an idea it was to have more armed good guys in schools in order to prevent shootings.
However, on Friday, in Centennial, CO, just a 15 minute drive from both Columbine and Aurora (what the hell is going on in that tiny area of the country anyway?!), a good guy with a gun did just what the anti-gunners said was impossible.
According to the most recent reports about the attempted Arapahoe High School shooting, an armed resource officer at the school most likely caused Karl Pierson to take his own life before he could take anyone else’s.
According to CNN,
The rampage might have resulted in many more casualties had it not been for the quick response of a deputy sheriff who was working as a school resource officer at the school, Robinson said.
