I was thinking resourceful, creative, and thoughtful. Bushy is my mentor.

Received this email from Aloys today. This should tempt your appetite Stovey. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Vince,

just wanted to share you a picture of our first day hunt on small game yesterday. Where several years ago we easely got 40-50 pieces, we now get with all these problems with foxes etc. only a few. But we still have lots of fun, even the dogs were tired and we have eaten more kg than we harvested... not to mention the large amount of beer.
I think we hunted 4-5 hours and sat on the table for in total 7-8 hours... I should have had taken more pictures, but now I have to be happy with the few pictures my hunting-friend Marijke took. And I'm not so sure it's even allowed to take pictures at the end of the day Smile

Aloys

I made mention of the four rabbits, three doves and 4 pheasant...then I received the following from Aloys:

I have to correct you: only 1 rabbit and 3 hare.
And for the pheasants: we only shoot roosters and this are 3 normal and 1 we call "mongole".
and we should have had 1 rooster more, but the dogs couldn't find it in the corn. It went down but probably starte running and because it's still too warm to hunt and the dogs were tired... hope we meet that runner next time.

Yup...I can see it now. Stovey sittin' on a clutch of eggs waiting for them to hatch (Elvira in hand).

My son and Harley had a good time in Eastern Washington. Got one nice Snow Goose. Harley is 12 years old and still going strong as long as he gets his aspirin and the end of the day.

Elvis, brings back the image of you shooting the duck in the backyard dressed only in your bathrobe!
