I took my wife Terry out yesterday to get in a little range time before taking her hog hunting today...
This is Terry's "Baby Rifle" - A T/C Contender carbine in 7mm TCU...
The bullet of choice is Sierra's 160 gr. B.T.-H.P. Game King...
3-shot groups averaged 7/8" or less at 150 yds...
Terry's BIG PIG - 500 pounds worth!!!
I shot the little guy, just for the grill. It was only 60 lbs...
I'm gonna have a European skull mount done on Terry's Hog and I'll post a picture of that, once we get it back....

The scope kept sliding with 2 rings, so I added another set and put rosin on the bottom halves. That scope has not even thought about moving since....

Like the pictures above say - the big one weighed an even 500 lbs. and the small one weighed 60 lbs....

the big one was so big, I didn't even see the little the first time through!
I'm not sure the 500 lb boar would be good for much other than coyote bait.

Thanks guys!
The big pig is gonna be ground into sausage. I don't believe in wasting food and since this may be my wife's last hunt, I told her to shoot the biggest pig that showed itself. Three hours after daylight, this guy showed up and presented a "target" at 80 yds. and my wife dropped him....

like shoot the biggest pig that (or who?) shows itself (or himself?)
And congrats. When something of that size would show itself arround here, then you have to look for everyone in very high trees with a brown trail leading to them...
and your wife just stops it with such a small single shot thingy
