The reation to the Zimmerman case is a modern example of mob rule.

My youngest son was and is a democrat. He votes too.
He was just starting college when Clinton was running. Clinton promised to lower tuition. Sooo... He voted for him even after I explained that Clinton would raise the tuition as soon as he was elected. Sure enough as soon as he said "I do" tuition went up 5%. Damn kid (he's 36) is still a democrat.

Change to what? If we go over the cliff in the process there is no return.

This sounded out far out but I found several posts detailing these ingredients to make a drug called "Lean"

The last I heard, George Zimmerman is changing his name to Ben Ghazzi so the Obama administration will never mention his name again.

LOL!!! However, this is really a sad situation. I'm old enough to have witness discrimination against Black Americans when I was younger. I felt I grew up without prejudice and had a Black roommate in college. While a legal officer in the Navy, I learned prejudice as I watched Black men change their story and lie at Captain's Mast to get other Black men who had done wrong out of trouble. I watched Affirmative Action place Black men in positions they were not qualified nor had the skills just to meet quotas. Through the late 80s and 90s, when I saw a Black person in a position of responsibility, I would always question if they were put there because of their skin color or their capabilities. That question has faded from my mind recently. However, over the years I've come to the conclusion that many Black people jump to racism or discrimination as the cause when things don't go right or the way they want them to go. IMO, many have lost their sense of personal accountability and are unable to see when failure is the result to their own conduct. This is one of those situations and has been stirred up by the news media which has not report the facts or altered them.
I have also seen Blacks push beyond reason for their cause. As an examples, Black school teaches in Dallas once protested that they weren't hiring enough Black teachers. It turned out that ratio of Black teachers compared to Black students was excessive and out of balance. When brought to their attention that there were more Black teachers than any other group within the district, they just said it didn't matter and keep protesting to have more Black teachers hired. They are pushing beyond reason now as they want Zimmerman prosecuted for racism.
It appears to me that Black Americans have grown to be the ones that are racist and now everyone that isn't Black is White, even if they are Hispanic. Until the Black Americans as a collective become personally accountable for their actions and realize they can make bad decisions like everyone else and some times bad things happen to good people, this situation will not improve. I am also of the opinion that our current President has done little to be a role model for accountability and has done more to divide Black and White Americans than to bring them together.
There, I said it. I wonder what will happen to me now.

From Ann Coulter; HERE read the entire article
Black liberals keep bemoaning the danger to their own teenage sons after the "not guilty" verdict in George Zimmerman's murder trial. To avoid what happened to Trayvon Martin, their boys need only follow this advice: Don't walk up to a stranger and punch him, ground-and-pound him, MMA-style, and repeatedly smash his head against the pavement.
The Justice-for-Trayvon crowd keeps pretending there hasn't been a trial where the evidence overwhelmingly showed that Trayvon committed the first (and only) crime that night by assaulting Zimmerman. Instead, the race agitators are sticking with the original story peddled by the media, back when we had zero facts. To wit, that Zimmerman had stalked a young black child and shot him dead just for being black and wearing a hoodie.
