Merry Christmas everyone!

Its a whiteout blizzardy Christmas where I live lol. Luckily we have no-where to go so we can sit around a warm fire and enjoy each others company.

You are so lucky Dallan. Here, it is stinking hot and humid...beach tomorrow with the family to try and cool down.

Vince, for you that's normal this time of the year. Here we have 10°C outside and lots of rain. That's certainly not a white Christmas... I even killed a fly yesterday, I cann't remember if I could ever do that around Christmas.
And alltough Christmas is not the time to hunt, 'Someone' delivered a pheasant this morning. I heart a noise, a loud 'boink' of something hitting my window. Went to have a look and a rooster was death on his back on my front garden. Still short spurs, so a young one. Good stuff for New Year's diner and it cost me less worries than all Stovey's efforts. And it's even a capture where one doesn't need a magnifying-glass to find it on your plate, as with some birds I-'ve seen here... Smile

Normally I don't have that kind of luck... maybe it's somekind of compensation from Upstairs for my worsened eyes...

so since I seem to have plenty of luck right now: all the best wishes for all the nuts of good will.

Merry Christmas to all! We had a coating of snow last night. Just enough to make it look festive and not enough to have to drag out the snowblower. Hope you all enjoy the day.

Rum Suz...good old fashioned OverProof RUM. Its a kill or cure. Get a 5oz flask of OP Rum, a bucket, then head off to bed. Drink the rum, the bucket is in case it upsets your tummy, and sleep it off. In the morning you may well be hungover so will still feel pretty ordinary, but it will sweat the lurgy out of you. Doesn't work every time, but what have you got to loose.

As an alternative...ring Jon to get his wee pink bum up to your place...you need some TLC. What better way to spend the Christmas / New Year break...being looked after mate.

Vince, in Czech Republic this is translated as tea-rum and asperine. You take 2 asperines and drink a large, hot tea with a rather large rum added and go to bed.
You will sweat as 10 working horses on a hot summerday, but will be cured next morning.

We had an exciting Christmas Day in North Texas. Pouring rain, thunderstorms tornadoes, sleet, and blowing wind. That was all before lunch. The icing on the cake was 3-5 inches of snow yesterday afternoon! A White and Merry Christmas to all.
