With Obama's push for new gun control laws, sales are through the roof. I was going to wait 'til spring, but today I decided to order a new Glock 21C while I still can. Without a doubt, Obama's the best gun salesman that ever lived!

I've been tied up with family events for a week. Finally got to take a breath and realized I hadn't bought any magazines for my new 6.8 and went to order them on Wednesday. Mags are no where to be found. Sales volume has been 30 times normal. All the stores from Cabela's to small mom and pop stores are cleaned out of ARs and .223 ammo. What a mess. Not even sure I want to fight the crowds at the gunshow tomorrow. I wonder how many of those buyers voted for Obama?

I called one store and the salesman laughed. "you aren't calling about ARs or .223 ammo, are you?" Colorado had its biggest sales day for guns in their history, the day after the shooting. Guess I'm too slow.

I had ordered parts for an AR lower prior to the shooting. I've had an AR receiver sitting around waiting for me. Now I have no idea if I'll ever be able to find an upper for it. I was able to buy a few AK47 30 round mags at my local gun shop yesterday which surprised me.

Prices are insane right now. +2x normal prices. I am happy I got my LCP the day before the shooting, you cant find them now...I DEEPLY regret not ordering a Stag Arms 6L earlier this year when they were around $1k, I talked to a dealer today and he said they arent taking ANY orders until January at the earliest and he is estimating the dealer cost will be over $1700.

You can pre-order/back order mags and lower receivers from Brownells. They manufacture themselves and the prices are not inflated (yet). I did that. I'll wait and see if they ship before any bills are enacted.

I also ordered and extra upper from Midway. They still had the DPMS no forward assist which I like.

Yea I'm only interested in lefty ARs, Stag 6l specifically for hunting. Rock River now makes a lefty but I cant find any for sale. Been watching this but the price is now at ludacris amounts.

This guy is going to be a millionaire before this is all over! He's got them all lined up in succession. One selling every couple of minutes. That way there will be a feeding frenzy as more and more miss getting the deal and jump in on the next one. He's making $200 a minute and will be a millionaire before this is all over!

This all happens as I finally decided to build my first AR. I chose to build a 6.5 Grendel. I ordered my barrel, bolt magazines and lower from Alexander arms. The bolt is out of stock with no estimated delivery date. They will have a shipment in four weeks but they don't know it the shipment will go to any new orders. I had been contemplating buying a DPMS 5.56 MK12 or finding a better caliber and building an AR. I guess I took to long to decide.

My son finished his ar build 2 weeks ago. It took a while to find a bolt carrier group. I saw Midway had just gotten DDI bcg in stock and called him. He said he would take care of it later. I told him to stop and order it right then. He was lucky he did. they were all gone a few minutes later. Be patient. They will be back. Keep watching Midway, bravo company, hundland .

I wonder if Obama is getting a percentage from all these gun manufacturers? I read someplace that his wealth has increased substantially since he took office.

I just keep trolling different sites to see if anything I want or need is available. Sooner or later I will be able to get my parts.
