What did anyone expect?? He cant sing, he screams. I cant believe anyone would expect him to do better than what he did. Now, they should have gotten Carrie Underwood to sing. That would have been good.

I couldn't agree more. Call me a punk, but when sung as it should be with respect for what it represents and reverence for those who died to preserve it, it brings a tear to my eyes as well.

Yeah I saw it and it was!
Even for someone who's anthem it is not!

Many have tried and many have failed, but whoever sings our National Anthem who does so with no knowledge of our history and what our country truly stands for cannot do it justice and the worst singer who sings it with love and passion for our country in their hearts sings it truly and best.

I also like God Bless America, and some say it ain't over till the fat lady sings, I say the fat lady is the only one who should sing God Bless America. Please have a listen.
