According to the Sierra website the 5th Edition has it !!!
Cartridge List 5th Edition
Plan on getting new Sierra and Hornady manuals ........ just want to find out if new ones are in the works first.

No, so don't get jealous.
I realy like their caliber specific data, includes all their bullets not just the SMK. Sierra rocks!

Cartridge List 5th Edition

The 5th edition Sierra manual lists the following Ackley Improved cartridges:
22-250, 6mm Rem, 250/3000 Savage, 257 Roberts, 25-06, 280 and 30-06.
EDIT: Don't know how I missed the 250 when I last posted (I looked twice)
Sierra also has printable pages for additional cartridges to add to their book available from their website, or by contacting them. When mine was printed (5th printing, Edition V), the .204 Ruger data was not yet included, but was available from their tech support: sierra @ sierrabullets.com or 1-800-223-8799
I have the 7th edition Hornady manual, but I think the 8th edition is already out??
I use the Hornady loads as "the gospel" - especially since I mostly use their bullets. I have noticed that, on average for most cartridges, the charges listed in the Sierra manual are a little hotter than in the Hornady or Nosler books.

Yes- caliber specific data. Did I say something wrong?
You e-mail Duane and you'll know what I mean...they will send you a PDF of that particular caliber with suggested hunting and accuracy loads.

Was looking at the Ultra Light Arms (just looking) website and came across this description for their Model 20
Model 20 Rifle (The Ultimate Mountain Rifle) - built upon an intermediate length action. It is designed for exceptional accuracy with .308 class cartridges, yet maintains an extremely light weight. The action weighs a modest 20 ounces, and the finished rifle is only 5 pounds. Featuring a 3- inch magazine, the Ultimate Mountain rifle is available in all .308 length calibers, including .243 Winchester, 6mm Remington, .257 Roberts, 7mm-08, and .284. A 3 inch magazine is featured to allow extra versatility during load development.
$3,000 (left-hand add $100)
What I really like about it was the 3" magazine !!!

when I was playing with .25"s last I wrote in my data book the Sierra 100 spbt added exactly 1" when filling the neck of a Rob. That would be with the boattail in the shoulder area. what is your measurement of the neck length on the .250?
