Mines a Remington model 788, but I'm sorry Bushy they don't make them anymore and they are very accurate rifles. They were cheap but the reason they quite making them was because they couldn't sell the higher priced lines cause these were so good. That's the way the story goes.

OK...22.250 it is. Not a bad choice at all, has to be better than a .223!!

You got it right , I love to varmint hunt! I am going to start a new thread that will relate to this one but with a bit more specific to beyond 300 yard shooting.

Holy Sh++...I've been way of topic...Sorry about that...I use 32 grains of W-748 in my varmint rifle...All in Remington or Winchester cases...CCI primed...Works very well against varmints and other vermin....

Yep.......... this is the reloading section
I use 39.0 gr W-760 or 36.5 gr Varget in my varmint loads with Federal or WW cases and CCI primers.
