Wow!!! I have never seen that on a laminated stock before. That is downright scary looking! Any idea on the caliber? Seems like it would have taken a LOT of pressure to bust a laminate like that.

The first couple of years after T/C brought out the Encore, I repaired literally hundreds of busted stocks!

With the plastic/nylon stocks, no problems!

Laminated stocks, no problems!

that round grip Encore is chambered in 458 Lott! Quite the handfull...

I do a full series of "improved" cartridges based off the full length 204 Ruger case, since it is nearly impossible ...
