Everybody should look at this film, it free to watch until the end of December and it exposes the BS coming out of DC and the pathetic lies of the anti-hunters, anti-gun groups. It's an hour film and I can guarantee you will be P.O. big time.

Wow! Great movie. Wolves have decimated the Yellowstone Elk Herd from 19,000 to 4,500 elk. The original goal of the wolf introduction program was to have less than 100 wolves in Yellowstone. At this level, the gov't study said that this level of wolfs would not impact the herds, ranchers, or economy. There are now over 1600 wolves and growing. The wolve are in all the northern states. This number is eliminating the deer, elk, and moose population. Just think, a wolve has to kill 23 elk a year to survive. Elk surveys show less than 15% of the elk calves are surviving.
A sad situation of lies by our government. The introduction of wolves is a direct attack on our hunting heritage.

Thanks for sharing the documentary. The only thing they missed is that environmental groups attract big money by playing the Bambi card. Our seal hunt has been all but ruined by their BS with our fisheries suffering as a result. 6-8 million seals eat a lot of fish. One of the reasons I got back into hunting is because humans, as the top predator, have to be part of that balancing of the prey population or it soon destroys itself with habitat destruction from overgrazing. Our two national parks on the island have just opened up moose hunting within their boundaries for this very reason. Coyotes, which are not native to the island, are affecting the recovery of our woodland caribou herds through calf depredation. Black bears, which are native, have increased in population and also are major calf killers. Coyotes have made the small sheep industry untenable for many farmers.
Thank god we still have a political will to protect the hunting tradition here. 90% of our land is public.

Every time I hear "they are so cute, how can you kill one like Bambi?" card by a anti-hunter or animal lover I respond "Cause Bambi tastes good beside the mashed potatoes and the veggies".
Believe it or not, while the men (generally metrosexuals) will get upset, the girls realize I am serious, and look like they will break down and cry, but in the end, most of them, end up asking me "is it better then beef?"

I was riveted through the entire film. The gent did an excellent job for his first film. I passed it on to others. Thanks again, OV1.
