Seems like it has been forever since I stopped by here. It has been a rough year in the Wiersy house. Mama burned her foot last fall, and had lots of work on the road, my best friend was deployed to Afghanistan so we had to help his wife cope. Now tonight my son had an motorcycle accident. By the grace of god he walked out of the hospital on his own to feet. Tonight was a reality check for me so I figured I had to take a moment and touch base with my good friends here at the nut. I need to take the time to stop by and chat here more. Looks like my hunting partner is going to be on the side lines this year, unless I can rig his 10 gauge up like a punt gun. On the bright side there are two new additions to the family, Lexi and Dip Stick. They are 6 month old Chocolate Labs from my Emma. They are working real hard but I don't think I will hunt them this year. I will post pictures soon.

welcome back. If that boy of yours is anything like me you will be shooting with him this season somehow even if you have to work abit harder to get him in place to start with.
great to hear you have some more 4 legged hunting buddies I look forward to seeing those pictures.

Welcomer back mate...great to hear from you again.

I hope the missus is fully healed now mate...burns are just downright nasty, and bloody painful.

What happened with your young fella to put him down the road mate? Hopefully everything is going to be OK with him.

I know why you really haven't been around mate...you are just having too much fun with that Tank Simulator, ain't ya? Good to hear you have a couple of hairy hunting buddies...they make everything just right in the field.

Well done on looking after your buddy's wife mate...there is nothing worse than being all alone, with little or no support from the system, when your partner is deployed. It behooves those of us who are not necessarily still in the military to remember we are still a part of the family that can offer support to the families of deployed mates. Proud of ya buddy.

Thanks guys. It has been a rough 24 hours but things should be looking up now. Stevie has vowed to get back on the bike. after it gets fixed. Now we just have to argue with the insurance I'm sure. He wants it back to have his Harley back the way it was.

Sweet ride and two very sweet looking litle girlies mate.

Damage appears to be fairly minor mate...if the insurance company baulks, I'm sure it wouldn't take too much to repair it back to new.

Was he wearing the jacket when he came off?
That photo IS the definitive reason for wearing a helmet, an otherwise low speed tumble can lead to major head injury.

Good to see you back, yep your son was lucky , better the helmet than his head. Hope her ladyship is better as well though you both don't need upsets like road accidents.
Labs....I love labs so I hope those two rascals of yours do you proud. Dipstick? thats a bit harsh to name a dog dipstick. Here thats insult material. (The old dukes of hazard - enos you dipstick)
