Recently rented a movie called :”The Hunting Season” off of Amazon via my Netflix account.

Super interesting and detailed account of a small village in the French Pyrenees during wild boar season. It was all subtitled but the spirit comes through loud and clear.

Very interesting hunts, rifles and guns and at the end of the day there was a long table set up for chow and stories. The days take was always divided equally between all hunters regardless of whom took what.

I came away from this with a really good feeling and even though it was in a foreign tongue to me the Spirit of Hunting and fair chase really came across, the area was breath taking as well.

Two thumbs up. Check it out if you get a chance.

Amazon can be streamed from some other sources me thinks but...either way. Was wondering if Aloyisous had seen it since it's in his neck of the woods. Man was it interesting to see something completly different than what we are all used to over here.

Also picked off a couple movies from Sportsmen on Film- the Capstick series. Really neato hunts with the Man himself.
