I just purchased a Mossberg Model 500A Regal 12 gauge shotgun. I have several Mossberg's, but this is the first "Regal" I've come across and would like to know if anyone can give me a little history on the "Regal" that Mossberg produces. It has a gold crown on the reciever and a gold trigger. It has a finger tip screw in choke (I assume accu-choke).
When I attempted to search for it on the internet, about the only thing that came up was Model 835 Regal's that appear to be designed for Duck/Goose hunting coming with 2 barrels so they can be used for Turkey.
