Remebrance Day here in Australia. I just got back from a ceremony at one of our RSL's. Always a very sobering day for me as my grandfather fought in WW1. He came home but was broken.

At the going down of the Sun,
And in the morning,
We will remember them

Took the flag off the house because of rain rain and more rain but it's goin up again Friday and it will be a nice day too! For some reason my town had a parade for Veteran's Day last Sunday, don't know why they do that.....anyway thanks for those that served and those that gave to the bitter end. Freedom is worth sacrifice and I find it amazing that our troops are often taken for granted, like some dueling robots sent off into the night to make us all safe and secure. We get little news about our troops (probably for security reasons) but they're out there doing the best they can, and we all know how young they are and how brave they are to put up their lives for our countries. Put up a flag at least and recognize them. I salute them all and all of us that have also put in our fair share of time to protect our nation.
