Just read this - spud guns are not illegal but you should really have a firearms license , had a lot of fun with them as a young fellah, fly spray is the best propellant!

In Washington they are considered a firearm... and because the bore is larger than 50 caliber they are dangerous weapons... It sucks to live in a state run by three liberal counties.
