Way cool site. Back when a really expensive car was $6,800 a 1929 Stutz and a 1913 Owens Magnetic the first hybrid car, gas/electric, car of a thousand speeds. 1969 Jeepster Commando, I had one of those, bought it in the late 80s with 39,000 original miles, sold it when I arrived in Oregon, kicked myself ever since. Friend of mine had a GMC stepside pickup we called the Titty Pink, it was some weird faded color sort of pink and it had plaid valve covers, 3 speed shift on the steering column, way cool. My first car was a 1956 Plymouth station wagon, push button trans. power brakes, lots and lots of chrome on the inside. You could have killed yourself on the bullet shaped chrome steering wheel horn button, had vacuum tube radio that actually worked. OMG this brings back memories...
Thanks Vinnie
