A friend of mine used to use bad language as a matter of course and always with great feeling. He naturally assumed that his one year old son was too young to notice. The surprise finally came as he was getting change at the supermarket checkout line. The boy decided at that moment to show that he could say the F-bomb... and at the top of his voice! The reaction of everyone within earshot was immediate stunned silence. With the reaction of the crowd now silent the boy decided to holler it out again! My friend could not collect his change and groceries fast enough to get out of the store without complete embarrassment. The precocious young man has since gone on to become a medical doctor.

Little ones are so good at doing those great comments when they shouldn't. Try high school students who don't think the teacher is listening. Sadly I don't think any of them can be posted here.

My friend is still anoyed that I keep reminding her and her son that when he was 2 he yelled that he wanted a beer in Target.
