That belongs in a museum and while it looks great, it's about useless to me. The only engraving my rifles have was accidentally done while hunting.

Not much checkering.....I would think there'd be some carving on the stock but they embellished the metal nicely. I love that bolt! If ya really want to tear it apart< I bet they used an etching thingy like Geland's to come up with the patterns. I thought damascus steel was to be avoided (at least in old shot guns). It is pretty, but the price is whatever someone is willing to pay. Is it really worth the amount put into it? It would be interesting to see the processes involved, they should make a video, that would be cool to see.

The older damascus barrels were hand rolled and forge welded. I doubt they use the same method in that rifle. I would imagine that the used a forged welded billet to make the barrel.
Maybe I would buy one if I had more money than I could possibly spend and I was going to die with too much money to leave my family - but I doubt it.

for that kind of money it's allowed to be self-aiming...
usually he, who can spend that kind of money on such a thing, will not have time or the attitude to practise, so they are often lousy shots...
