|
Another forum that I visit (Carolina Shooters Club) has a "chat room" for members. I've been able to meet a few local folks, find some ammo, etc. using it. So my questions here are: 1 - Is this something that is practical for our site? Obviously this is the most important question. 2 - Is there any interest in it?

Not a bad idea Mike.

It is possible, but what happens is all the interesting stuff goes in chat and the forums start to die off. Seen it happen on enough forums I've been pretty hesitant to set one up here... but as always I am open to suggestions.

You make a good point Dallan. I will say though that the stuff I see on the other site is mostly "chit chat" and the good stuff seems to stay in the forums. It might be because not that many folks are on at one time.

Don't mess with a good thing Dallan. Sounds like problems. Good idea though.

Maybe set it up through a moderator with a specific time and subject...... just an added thought !!!
