'Mornin' ya'll!

I live accross the street from a large park and a 52 acre pond. It's refuge to a lot of water fowl like geese, herron and ducks.

Every so often the ducks'll buzz my place and have a paddle in the pool that's just below my balcony.
This morning I was just out there having a cup of joe and heard some commotion, peaked my head over the railing and there was one in the jacuzzi claiming it. Quacking away, paddling around keeping the others out while he enjoyed a good soak. Minda ya it's about 100* water. Didn't know they liked that sort of thing.

I look at it more like a self-stewing sort of thing. Maybe I should toss in some carrots and broth, then net the little guy after 30 mins or so. Wish I could get the quail out here to do this! Tried to get some pics but my roomie has the camera. Funny critters, they is!

Nice way to start the day with a little feathered humor.

No worse the shooting fish in a barrel...I would think.

You need to try marinated duck on the grill, then you won't be worried about shooting them like fish in a barrel. Yummy!!!! You could make up for the ones I didn't get this past season.
