Looooove the smell of new dies and powder in the morning....168gr'rs is kinda short though, cant gettum on the lands with these boat tails cuz there's aint enough straight shank in the neck, well I could but I prefer to have the whole neck grabbing the pill so....load 'em up ta 2.810" , which is what the 168gr Fed GMM average is and it likes them, and see how many grains, @ .5gr increments in the case this short, fat barrel will like. Joyeee! Razz (sometimes I wish I had me one of them fancy bore gauge tool thingys...)

Twas actually a ncek-szied dummy round with the bullet scooched out as far as I could while still getting full neck/shank contact to see if it'd hit the lands and nope! Not the best way to measure that but...just checking.

Good eye Bushy. I didn't even notice the missing primer. (When reloading, I usually notice the powder leaking out first. - Just kidding, I always inspect for properly seated primers.)
