My neighbor is a treehugger, voted for Barry-O, etc. Nice enough guy and we get along. I came home from the range last week and he knows I shoot and hunt. He was curious so I showed him Kabong and he was like but after a while he calmed and then I showed him a round and let him handle it- and we talked about safety and such and how I've been shooting since 1964 or so and I've never had an issue- ever and how many can say that about driving safely! He asked and I told him I roll my own and showed him my stations and such. After which he thanked me and the light came on- people are the problem, not firearms. He got a whole new understanding of it all. Pretty cool really.

Well good for you Stovie! That's exactly right people are the problem and no amount of legislation can correct stupid. Unless of course there is an interest in education. Naw...too scary for the kids to learn something helpful. It's like showing actual dead people on TV, don't wanna do that it might make someone throw up, heaven forbid. Warning the following pictures may be of a graphic nature, send the kids to the bedroom. Kinda squashes reality and induces extreme shock when a family member does the inevitable, and actually dies. Whoda thunk? Does it really happen in real life? AAAaaaahhhhh.....yup, by golly it does.

There is only one cure for stupid - and they made that illegal!
Some people have a faith that guns should be banned. Faith cannot be argued with facts because faith is a belief so strong that it stands true regardless of the evidence to the contrary.
Now when it comes to religion faith is alright but when it comes to the actions of folks against my rights it should be facts not faith that make those discriminations.
You can't prevent crime unless you control the people. Since we can't control people then lets punish those who commit crimes and stop trying to prevent crime by punishing those who are living by the laws.
