You know. Come to think of it. I haven't seen and quail here. No grouse, but a few doves though.

I believe the pheasent and the rest of the upland birds are much north of me.

It goes something like this..... Noddy and big ears were mates.
then along came some elephants and kidnapped Big ears.
This dude Noddy was a tight wad, and would not pay the ransom.
So the mean old elephants kept Big ears.

There fore the elephants have BigEars because Noddy wouldnot pay the ransom
